Welcome to Rose Creek Campground! The Campground spans 9 acres across a private, country setting in Western NC in the town of Franklin NC (Gateway to the Smokies and inside the Nantahala National Forest).
At our campground, we offer a variety of comfortable and convenient site options to suit every type of camper—from tent enthusiasts to big rig RV travelers. Each site is thoughtfully designed to provide the ideal balance of nature and comfort:
- Standard RV Sites feature full hookups with 30-amp electric, water, and sewer connections—perfect for smaller RVs and campers.
- Deluxe RV Sites offer a little extra space with full hookups and either 30-amp or 50-amp electric, depending on the site.
- Premium RV Sites are our largest and most convenient options, including pull-thru access or extra-large pads, with full hookups and either 30-amp or 50-amp electric service.
- Pop-up or Tent Sites include water and electric hookups—ideal for pop-up campers or tent campers who enjoy a few modern comforts.
- Primitive Tent Sites provide a more rustic experience with water access only—perfect for those looking to truly unplug and reconnect with nature.
No matter how you camp, you’ll enjoy a peaceful stay surrounded by the beauty of our natural setting. We also have Cabins, Glamping Wagons, and Rental RVs available with private bathrooms and linens available upon request.
Relax in our Welcome Center Lounge, featuring cozy seating, a guest laundry, and free Wi-Fi to keep you connected. The Bathhouse is clean and conveniently located, with restrooms, showers, and vending machines for your convenience. Gather at our Pavilion and Grill Area, perfect for meals and socializing. Take a dip in the Swimming Pool, or enjoy some fresh air and outdoor games our spacious Green space. Cast a line in our Fishing Pond (bass, brim and catfish). Whether you’re here to relax or explore, our campground has everything you need for a memorable stay.

What Our Guests Say
1. What are your cancellation policies? Can I cancel because of the weather, etc?
We feel our cancellation policy is one of the most liberal of any campgrounds. We keep our policy very basic so that we can meet the needs of 99% of our guests. Please read our policy carefully as we follow these rules:
- All cancellations for any reservation must be made by calling the office during normal business hours. Email cancellations are not accepted.
- No refunds or credits for any site deposits for cancellations involving Holidays or other designated Special Event weekends.
- Greater than 30 days’ notice must be given to receive a refund (less a $25 admin fee).
- Less than 30 days but greater than 14 days’ notice must be given to get a credit (less a $25 admin fee).
- No refunds or credits with less than 14 days’ notice.
- Credits must be used within one year of the date on which they are issued.
- No refunds/credits are given for early departures or “no-shows”.
Please understand that we cannot be held responsible for weather, illness, work schedules, or other situations outside of our control and therefore, enforce our cancellation policy regardless of circumstances. 2. Do you offer camping discounts?
Rose Creek does offer a variety of travel, promotional, and package discounts.
As these change from time to time we keep a list of all current offers on our main booking page. Simply click the BOOK NOW button from our website and scroll to the bottom of that first page to see what we are offering.
For Groups renting 3 sites or more, group discounts are available. Please inquire with our reservations department.
3. Is the campgound open year-round?
Yes, Rose Creek Campground is open year-round! While our high season runs from April through October, we do offer limited site availability during the low season (November through March). Due to the winterization of certain areas of the campground, low season reservations must be made directly through our reservations team. Please contact us to check availability and book your stay during the off-season. Off-season rates are also available.
4. Will I receive the reserved site that I request?
You can select a specific site with our booking software however we reserve the right to move your site prior to your visit. You can elect to lock your favorite site so that it is guaranteed during your stay for an additional fee. We recommend locking your site if you are meeting others here or just want to ensure that you have the view that you like.
5. Do you offer long-term stays?
Rose Creek is primarily a vacation and short-term stay campground, designed to give guests a refreshing getaway in the mountains. However, we do love when our visitors want to stay a little longer! We proudly welcome traveling nurses and other professionals visiting the Franklin area for a set period of time—up to a maximum of 3 months.
If you’re interested in an extended stay, please review our Extended Stay Policies and reach out directly to our reservations team for availability and approval. All long-term inquiries must go through our reservations department.
